What a mini-split repair visit involves
We start with the symptom you described and work backward from the head that is misbehaving. That means reading any error code the unit is flashing, checking the control board and communication between the indoor heads and the outdoor unit, and measuring how the system is actually performing under load. Because ductless equipment splits the work across zones, a fault in one place can look like a problem somewhere else. We also allow honest travel time on hill-country routes, so we tell you a realistic arrival window rather than a hopeful one.
What we check on the heads and the outdoor unit
Inside, we look at the blower wheel, the coil, the drain pan and the condensate line, since a clogged drain is one of the most common reasons a head weeps onto the floor. We clean or replace the washable filters and check the louver motor and sensors. Outside, we inspect the reversing valve, the inverter board, the fan motor and the line-set connections, and we clear leaves and grass clippings away from the coil. Refrigerant and high-voltage work stays with us, not with you.
How we decide repair is the right call
We weigh the age of the system, which part failed, and whether parts are still available for that model. A bad drain line, a failed fan motor or a dirty coil is straightforward repair work. A failed inverter board on an older multi-zone unit is a bigger conversation, and we lay out the options plainly instead of pushing you one way. If you run propane or wood as backup heat, we factor that in too, because how much you lean on the mini-split changes what makes sense.

One indoor head is not cooling but the others are. Is that fixable?
Usually yes. On multi-zone systems a single head can fail at its own blower, sensor or refrigerant valve while the rest work normally. We test that zone against the others to find where the fault sits.
Why is water dripping from my wall-mounted unit?
Most often the condensate drain is blocked or the line has lost its slope, so water backs up in the pan and spills out the front. It can also come from a very dirty coil. Both are repairs we handle.
My remote shows a code I do not recognize. What should I do?
Write the code down and call us with it, along with the brand. Codes point us straight at the sensor, board or communication fault, which shortens the visit and helps us bring the right part.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call or fill in the quote form with what the system is doing. Warm air, no air, short cycling, a smell, a breaker that keeps tripping. That detail helps us load the right parts before we roll.
- Step 2
We schedule around travel
Hill-country routes take time, so we give you a realistic window instead of a guess. If you are on a long county road, we tell you that up front and keep you posted if the day shifts.
- Step 3
Diagnose, then explain
We test the system, find the actual fault and walk you through what failed and what the repair involves. You decide before we start. If a part has to be ordered, we say when it lands.

Why homeowners call us
- Older systems are normal herePlenty of homes on our routes run a heat pump from two decades back, a propane furnace and a wood stove for the cold snaps. We repair what you have rather than pushing you toward replacement on the first visit.
- Heating and cooling bothSame crew handles air conditioning repair in summer and heating repair in winter. That means we know your system's history when the season flips, and we are not learning your ductwork from scratch in January.
- We say what we do not knowIf a fault is intermittent, we tell you that instead of replacing parts on a hunch. Sometimes the honest answer is a monitoring period or a second visit when the weather brings the problem back.
- Regional coverage, local paceWe cover Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Travel time is part of every job we quote, so you get a window that accounts for the drive rather than a promise that falls apart.
- All major brands, gas & electricEvery major HVAC brand, gas and electric, handled by an independent crew.
- Straight answersNot worth fixing? We say that out loud, and often it saves you the visit fee.
